plans.

Functionalities of PTIS
PTIS is made up
of two clearly distinct modules.
The first is a Tourist Information
Portal from where the general public may have access
to all available data on Products, Destinations, News,
Special Offers. Surfing and searching criteria are simple
and efficient in all cases.
The second component is
an Intranet, which may be accessed by a wide range of
users, including top political decision makers, operating
and press areas, Municipalities and/or Departments,
as well as service providers. Each of them has access
to the resources specified for that particular level
and is responsible for updating the information therein.
The Intranet also contains
a number of management and contents quality assurance
reports, aimed at the continuous improvement of the
information released to the public.
